Just a reminder that the -- Stevie Nicks, Def Leppard, The Zombies, Roxy Music, The Cure, Radioheadand Janet Jackson -- will be inducted tonight at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Nicks will make history with her induction, becoming the first woman ever to be inducted into the Rock Hall twice.

A partial reunion of Roxy Music has been confirmed, with singer Bryan Ferry joining fellow founding members Phil Manzanera and Andy Mackay to perform with several guest musicians.

Pop legend Dionne Warwick celebrated her upcoming studio album, She's Back, at an intimate invite-only party Wednesday at MAMO restaurant in downtown Manhattan.
During the interview, Dionne explained why she decided to record a new version of the classic Burt Bacharach- Hal David tune "What the World Needs Now Is Love" for the album, which will be released on May 10.
Warwick, who will be presented with a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award at May 11 ceremony, was asked how she felt about receiving the honor.

One of the interesting revelations included in the book, according to Page Six, is that Graham Nash went on several dinner dates with Barbra Streisand in1972 while the legendary entertainer was shooting the film What's Up Doc?
As the website reports, Nash and Streisand didn't have sex, but Graham wrote "Another Sleep Song" -- a tune featured on his 1974 solo album Wild Tales -- at Barbra's Los Angeles home.
The book chronicles the band's adventures on stage, in the studio and behind the scenes, including their break-ups, reunions and career highlights.

Jon Anderson's star-studded new solo album, 1000 Hands, gets released this Sunday, Mach 31, nearly 30 years after the founding Yes frontman started the project.
Anderson tells ABC Radio that he began the album in 1990 while on a ski retreat in Big Bear, California, with songwriting help from old friend and pre-Yes band mate Brian Chatton.
Jon says he shelved the initial recordings because he felt what Chatton was doing was "a little bit askew to where I thought we were going.
Anderson agreed, and he set about finishing lyrics and vocals for the songs, while Franklin took charge of the music.
The producer brought in various guest musicians, many of whom Jon wanted to work with.
The result is a set of songs offering an eclectic mix of musical genres and sounds, played by an impressive lineup of artists including Yes members Steve Howe, Chris Squire and Alan White, Jethro Tull's Ian Anderson, Journey's Jonathan Cain, Rick Derringer, Carmine Appice, and jazz greats Chick Corea, Billy Cobham and Jean-Luc Ponty.
Anderson says he was especially happy to collaborate with Howe, with whom he hadn't recorded since exiting Yes in 2008.
Jon reveals that he joined Steve in the studio to record the tune, "Now and Again," noting that the song's lyrics "was me explaining to him that…we're musical brothers and it's beautiful to sing with him again.
Anderson launches a tour in support of read more album this Friday in Lynn, Massachusetts.

According to a new Facebook post by DeYoung, the tune -- which he recorded with Ides of March frontman and ex-Survivor member Jim Peterik -- will be the first single off the forthcoming album by Peterik's star-studded World Stage project, Winds of Change, which is scheduled for an April 26 release.
The song also will be featured on DeYoung's next solo album, expected to arrive later this year.
The album also includes a track boasting archival vocals by late Survivor frontman Jimi Jamison.
Meanwhile, DeYoung recently added a bunch of dates to his 2019 solo tour schedule, which now extends into November.
Some shows will be joint gigs with Night Ranger, while many others will feature Dennis celebrating the 40th anniversary of Styx's 1977 album, The Grand Illusion.

The Hilton hotel company celebrating the 50th anniversary of John Lennon and Yoko Ono's first "Bed-In for Peace" protest event, which took place from March 25 to March 31, 1969, in Room 702 of the Hilton Amsterdam.
In conjunction with the anniversary, Hilton has premiered a new called Room 702 that profiles select this web page who reflect the spirit of peace and love that John and Yoko sought to promote and spread with their Bed-In.
The Room 702 series also includes who took some famous pics of Lennon and Ono at their Amsterdam Bed-In.

Ex- Journey singer Steve Perry has for his new song "We're Still Here," from his 2018 comeback solo album, Traces.
While Perry already has released a series of in-studio performance videos for several Traces songs, including for "We're Still Here," the new clip is being labeled as his since the clip for his 1994 tune "Missing You.
Reminiscing about his younger days, Steve watches various people out on the town, including a young couple on a date.
Another scene shows a group of well-dressed young men pass by a homeless man who is holding a sign that says "HUNGRY.
As the video ends, Perry parks his car, gets out and looks up at a full moon.
In celebration of the video's premiere, Perry took part in a with fans on Friday.
In response to one question, Steve explains that the meaning of the song "runs through the whole video -- which is that we have a deep camaraderie as people to each other.

The LP jacket, which contains a stereo prototype disc, has a blank back cover.
Lennon autographed the front and decorated the back with a personalized drawing for a Beatles bootleg collector named Dave Morrell.
Lennon traded the album to Morrell in exchange for a reel-to-reel recording of the Yellow Matter Custard bootleg.
John's signature on the front reads "To Dave from John Lennon Dec 7th 71" -- and Morrell later got both Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr to autograph the cover too.
The LP is among many items going on the block at the "Music Icons: The Beatles in Liverpool" sale, presented by Julien's Auctions.
The event will be streamed live at JuliensAuctions.
Other notable collectibles being auctioned include: --A baseball signed by The Beatles at the band's final U.

The singer and former Genesis drummer has announced a limited run of dates for fall of 2019, dubbed the Still Not Dead Yet, Live!
The 15-city trek kicks off September 23 in Dallas and wraps up October in Las Vegas.
Tickets go on sale March 29, and you can register now through Sunday at PhilCollins.
Any tickets left will be sold March 30 starting at 10 a.
Phil's last outing in 2018 featured the same band who'll be joining him for this one.
The lineup includes longtime Genesis touring guitarist Daryl Stuermer, who's also played with Phil for years, as well as legendary session musician Leland Sklar on bass and Phil's own son Nicolas playing drums.

In Las Vegas this past January, Styx played a special two-set concert at Palms Casino Resort that featured a full performance of the band's 2017 sci-fi concept album The Mission.
Now the veteran rockers plan to stage the show this fall on the East Coast.
The event will take place on November 7 at NYCB Theatre at Westbury in Westbury, New York.
The concert will start with Styx performing The Mission in its entirety and then -- following an intermission -- a set featuring many of the band's classic songs.
Tickets go on sale to the general public this Friday, March 22, at 10 a.
Styx has almost 40 confirmed North American dates on its 2019 tour itinerary, spanning from a March 21 concert in Fargo, North Dakota, through a December 15 show in El Paso, Texas.

It looks like Ringo Starr has started working on a new studio album, the follow-up to his 2017 release Give More Love.
This past week, the former Beatles drummer posted a message on his Twitter feed saying, "In the studio again with the great Steve Lukather what a guy peace and Love.
Lukather co-wrote two songs on Give More Love, and played guitar on several of the album's songs.
He also contributed to Starr's previous record, 2015's Postcards from Paradise.
Ringo and the All Starr Band kick off their 2019 tour schedule with a concert this Thursday, March 21, in Valley Center, California.
Then they'll head to Japan for a tour that runs from March 27 to April 11.
The group also has lined up a North American summer tour leg that gets underway August 1 in Windsor, Canada, and is mapped out through a September 1 show in Los Angeles.

Among those who cited Dale as a major influence: Jimi Hendrix, Eddie Van Halen and Stevie Ray Vaughn, the later of whom teamed up with Dale to record a new version of "Pipeline" by The Chantays.
It received a Grammy nomination in 1987.
He battled rectal cancer, as well as diabetes and renal failure.

In addition, he says The Who will be "back in the studio again in April to finish the album off," and also notes that he's very excited about the band's upcoming North American orchestral tour.
In the text portion of the update, Townshend points out that Daltrey "is very positive about the new songs.

T A new Rolling Stones best-of compilation titled Honk will be in multiple formats and configurations on April 19, one day before the band kicks off its 2019 near Miami.
The retrospective, which hits stores on April 19, will be available in a three-CD or four-LP deluxe edition featuring 46 tracks, as well as a 20-track single-CD or two-LP version.
Both versions boast at least one song from every this web page album that The Stones released from 1971 through 2016.
The deluxe Honk offers 36 previously released tracks by the British rock legends, plus 10 bonus live performances recorded during the band's recent stadium tours.
Among the songs included on the collection: "Start Me Up," "Brown Sugar," "Miss You," "Tumbling Dice," "Wild Horses," "Angie," "Beast of Burden" and "Waiting On a Friend.
The concert performances include collaborations with four music stars: "Beast of Burden" with pop singer Ed Sheeran, "Wild Horses" with Florence Welch of alt-rock act Florence + the Machine, "Dead Flowers" with country star Brad Paisley and "Bitch" with Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl.
The 46-track and 20 track versions of Honk also will be available digitally.
A colored-vinyl edition of the four-LP set will be sold exclusively at The Rolling Stones'.
A limited-edition two-LP collection on red vinyl will be available only at the band's upcoming U.
Honk can be now, and fans who do so will receive an instant free download of The Rolling Stones' and Welch's rendition of "Wild Horses.
The Zombies and longtime Yes drummer Alan White are among the music stars that will appear at the 2019 New York-area edition of The Fest for Beatles Fans, scheduled for March 29-March 31 at the Hyatt Regency hotel in Jersey City, New Jersey.
Alan White, who played on albums by John Lennon and George Harrison before joining Yes, will be interviewed and will also perform during the event.
Other well-known musicians who will be on hand for the 2019 Beatles festival are three Wings alums -- guitarists Denny Laine and Laurence Juber, and drummer Steve Holley.
All three will perform together on March 30, while Laine and Juber will also take part in various activities and performances on the other two days.
Mark Rivera, longtime music director for Ringo Starr's All Starr Band and Billy Joel, will perform at the festival as well, while producer Jack Douglas, who worked on Lennon's Double Fantasy album, is part of the read article of guests.
In addition, The Fest for Beatles will feature a 50th anniversary celebration for the Fab Four's Abbey Roadalbum.
Other activities and events include various Beatles tribute performances, autograph signings, a battle of the bands, a karaoke room, a dance party, dress-up and trivia contests, memorabilia sales and auctions, art displays and more.
Meanwhile, a Chicago-area edition of the Beatles fest is scheduled for August 9-11.

A variety of top musicians have taken to social media to pay tribute to Hal Blaine, drummer silver reef casino smash mouth the renowned collective of Los Angeles session musicians known as "The Wrecking Crew," who died Tuesday at age 90.
Among the artists saluting Blaine are founding Beach Boy Brian Wilson, The Beach Boys themselves, Ringo Starr, The Rolling Stones' Charlie Watts and The Ronettes' Ronnie Spector.
Brian, who worked closely with Hal on many Beach Boys recordings, including the group's acclaimed 1966 album Pet Sounds, writes, "I'm so sad, I don't know what to say.

Concert promoter Live Nation has announced a new partnership that will bring your favorite artists to the Big Apple's famed theater district several times a year.
Called In Residence on Broadway, the first installment of the new program will be held at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre from May through July of 2019.
Each "limited residency" will consist of five to 10 performances over the course of one to two weeks.
The artists involved will be announced in the coming weeks, with tickets available via Ticketmaster.
The shows will feature "customized stage experiences" which will reflect "each artist's signature style.
Alice Cooper recently announced plans for a joint U.
Now, the shock rocker has lined up six stateside headlining concerts just prior to the trek.

After reported Thursday that Robert Plant would be part of the rumored lineup of the 50th anniversary Woodstock festival this August, the Led Zeppelin legend confirmed the news that night on the red carpet at the third annual.
Asked by reporters what his 2019 plans were, Plant declared that he would be playing Woodstock.
The is scheduled to take place August 16-18 in Watkins Glen, New York.
Plant's set was among the many highlights of the Love Rocks NYC show, held at the Beacon Theatre in New York City.
Among the show's other performers were ZZ Top's Billy Gibbons, Buddy Guy, Mavis Staples, Jimmie Vaughan, Hozier and Silver reef casino smash mouth Potter, as well as Bill Murray, Chevy Chase and Martin Short.

We knew that Elton John's autobiography would be coming out sometime this year, but now we know exactly when: October 15.
Described as "the first and only official autobiography of a much-loved global icon," the book will detail what Elton calls his "crazy life.
I hope readers will enjoy the ride too.
The title and the cover are yet to be revealed.
Of course, if you don't like to read, you can just go see Rocketman, the theatrical movie about Elton's life, when it lands in theaters this May.
However, the film has been described as a "musical fantasy," so it's not clear exactly how much of it will be fact-based and how much of it will be imagination.

Due to overwhelming demand, Diana Ross' 75th birthday celebration show, Diamond Diana, has been extended.
The iconic star's Las Vegas residency will return to the Wynn resort's Encore Theater in June for six additional performances.
The new performances run from June 5 through the 15 and will feature Ross article source new costumes as she sings her many solo and Supremes classics.
The original run of shows ended February 23.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 8 at 10 a.
As previously reported, Ross will officially celebrate her 75th birthday on March 26 with the recently announced screening of the film event Diana Ross: Her Life, Love and Legacy at select theaters.
The movie features footage from the historic concert film Diana Ross: Live in Central Park, enhanced with new tribute messages from Diana's children.
Live in Central Park documents the famous free concert Diana gave in New York City over the course of two days in July 1983.
More than 800,000 fans turned up for her July 21 show, but a torrential downpour put a damper on the event.
Ross promised from the stage that she would return to Central Park's Great Lawn and perform a full concert the next day, which she did, delivering an inspired, career-spanning set.

The Who's Roger Daltrey may still be singing "I hope I die before I get old," but thankfully, it's way too late for that: He turns 75 today.
In 1959, Daltrey founded a band called The Detours, and in 1964, the group was rechristened The Who.
While guitarist Pete Townshend quickly emerged as The Who's main songwriter and creative mastermind, Daltrey, with his powerful voice, blond locks and onstage swagger, became the perfect delivery system for Pete's quirky yet silver reef casino smash mouth tunes.
After belting out such early classics as "My Generation," "I Can't Explain" and "I Can See for Miles," Daltrey went on to embody the lead character Townshend created for The Who's landmark 1969 rock opera Tommy.
Among the many memorable Who tunes sung by Roger: "Baba O'Riley," "Won't Get Fooled Again," "Behind Blues Eyes," "Love Reign O'er Me," "Who Are You" and "You Better You Bet.
Roger has made his mark on Hollywood as well: He starred in the movie adaption of Tommy, as well as films like Lisztomania and McVicar.
Daltrey's also known for his charitable work, best exemplified by his patronage of the U.
The charities help fund teen-friendly recreational centers at various medical treatment facilities.
The Who is currently working on what would be its first studio album since 2006's Endless Wire.

The Who's Pete Townshend has offered up another update about how things are progressing as the band continues work on its upcoming studio album.
In the latest blog, posted on TheWho.
Pete says he's hoping to get Roger to post video footage from the studio sessions, "or at least a 'hello' for you all.
Pete says producer Dave Sardy will be returning to London this Monday from Los Angeles, where he's been working on a project with ex-Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher.
Roger did not take part in the previous sessions.
In previous posts, Pete posted video of himself, Starkey and Palladino laying down tracks at British Grove Studios in London, with Sardy overseeing the sessions.
After the last day of those sessions, Townshend reported, "We managed to complete drums and bass overdubs on seven songs in as many days.

The video, which is posted on The Who's officialfeatures footage of Daltrey paying a visit last July to a high school in the Cincinnati suburb of Finneytown, Ohio, which was attended by three victims of the tragedy: Stephan Preston, 19, and Jackie Eckerle and Karen Morrison, both 15.
Roger is shown meeting students, teachers and alumni and checking out the school's memorials to Preston, Eckerle and Morrison.

The man chatting with Daltrey tells the singer that his visit to the high school was "healing" and "cathartic" for the local community.
Roger responds by saying he hopes to come back to the school with band mate Pete Townshend.
In 2010, the was founded in memory of the three students who were killed.
It provides scholarships annually to three graduating Finneytown seniors who plan to study the arts in college.

Bill Gerber, one of the producers of the Academy Award-nominated 2018 remake of A Star Is Born, is working on a new film focusing on 1969's Woodstock festival that reportedly will be included with a 50th anniversary reissue of the Oscar-winning 1970 documentary about the historic music event.
Deadline reports that, according to Gerber, the forthcoming companion flick will feature "material no one has ever seen," including footage of Neil Young playing with David Crosby, Stephen Stills and Graham Nash and of Janis Joplin both on and off the stage.
Of particular interest would be the scenes with Young, who performed with Crosby, Stills and Nash at the festival but did not appear at all in the 1970 Woodstock movie.
Neil has said in interviews that he was annoyed by the filming and told the cameramen to stay away from him when he was playing.
Gerber tells Deadline that the new movie also will focus on the story behind two of the festival's organizers, John Roberts and Joel Rosenman, whose goal in putting on the event was to raise money to build of recording studio.
In addition, the producer says the film will feature new interviews, as well as interesting unheard stories about Woodstock, including how then-New York Governor Nelson Rockefeller had intended to call in the National Guard to shut down the festival but was talked out of it by Roberts and Rosenman, whose family was the finance and banking business.
The Woodstock Music and Art Fair took place from August 15 to 18, 1969, in Bethel, New York.

This past November, Creedence Clearwater Revival marked the 50th anniversary of its self-titled debut by releasing a vinyl box set called The Complete Studio Albums, featuring half-speed remastered versions of all seven of its studio LPs.

Vinyl editions of the influential roots-rock group's first two albums, 1968's Creedence Clearwater Revival and 1969's Bayou Country, are scheduled to hit stores on March 15.
